The Afghanistan Center for Excellence (ACE) is an Afghan owned professional services company. We support national and international stakeholders from the public and private sectors in their quest to tackle pressing issues the country faces in terms of kick-starting the economy through nurturing the development of an entrepreneurial culture and innovation in Afghanistan. Through our extensive and engaged network of public and private sector leaders and institutions, we develop and implement pragmatic solutions to Afghanistan’s most critical economic development challenges. Established in 2012, ACE is headquartered in Kabul with regional offices and presence in Jalalabad, Mazar, Herat, and Kandahar. ACE is managed by a core team of around 50 experienced Afghans with an additional 200 project based team members successfully implementing a wide array of projects across the country. Women comprise 30% of our core team. Our diverse and dynamic team of qualified and experienced experts, provide turnkey solutions in effective and culturally appropriate ways.

Jalal Payab holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Iqra National University, Peshawar, Pakistan. He has rich experience in IT troubleshooting, programming, and web development.
Shabana Mansoory received her bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Kabul University, in 2012. She is committed to developing women’s professional aptitudes and facilitating their entry into the Afghan workforce.
Dr. Ahadi earned his MD degree from Kabul Medical University and his MBA from India. He has over a decade of experience working with national and international organizations in the capacity building and M&E.
Syed Kamal earned his MBA in India, along with a master’s degree in English Literature from Pakistan. Mr. Kamal is a leading M&E expert in the Afghan market, with over a decade of experience in business planning, operations, and management.
Tahmina Haidare received her bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Law from Kingston University, London. With her extensive experience in project management, communications, and training, Tahmina leads the project management team for ACE.
Ajmal Karman is a graduate of the National Institute of Management and Administration (NIMA) in Afghanistan. At ACE, Karman services as a Project Assistant.
Sadam Zadran holds a bachelor’s degree in Arts from Kabul University. Sadam Zadran has gained experience in communications working for different organizations, including Killid Group, Saba TV, and the Deputy Ministry of Youth Affairs.
Enjella Mazaher received her bachelor’s degree from Kabul University. She built her career in teaching, training, capacity development, translation, management, and coordination.
Suleman Fatimie earned his MBA in the UK. Prior to establishing the Afghanistan Center for Excellence, he served as the CEO of Harakat-Afghanistan Investment Climate Facility and CEO of the Export Promotion Agency of Afghanistan.
Masood Ahmad holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Bakhtar University in Afghanistan. Masood began his career at the Afghanistan Investment Climate Facility where he worked for several years.
Sonia Babakarkhil is a graduate of the National Institute of Management and Administration (NIMA) in Afghanistan. Currently she is working at ACE as an Employment Services Assistant.
Maruf Safi received his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Bakhtar University in Kabul. Maruf serves as a Project Officer at ACE.
Barialy Ahmadzai has a master’s degree in Business Studies (MBS) and is a member of Institute of Public Accountants of Australia. Barialy has extensive knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards, US GAAP and International Standards on Auditing.
Arifa Hashimi holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Economics and Management. She has several years of professional working experience in finance and teaching.
Hassibullah Hafizi holds diplomas in Business Administration and Information Technology. He has experience in accounting, administration, training related services and coordination between public and private entities.
Yosuf Mukhlis earned his master’s degree in India in Finance. Yosuf has comprehensive knowledge of accounting and auditing principles, A/P, A/R, payroll, general ledger posting, taxation issues and invoicing.
Manizha Isaar is currently undertaking her master’s degree in Educational Administration at Kabul University. Prior to joining ACE, Manizha gained valuable experience in project management, human resource management, academic research.
Wahab Kotwal earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Pune University, India. After successfully completing his internship with ACE, Wahab is now working as a Finance Officer.
Elhamuddin holds a bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB), with additional certifications in IT and English. Elhamuddin assists ACE management with project coordination and general operations management.
Mariam Shujai received her master’s degree in business administration from the Institute of Management Studies at the University of Peshawar, Pakistan. Mariam now serves as an intern with ACE.
Rahmanullah is certified in QuickBooks, sales and marketing, and is also a graduate of the National Institute of Management and Administration (NIMA). He is involved in project implementation and training delivery.
Aqil Shah Ayaz is currently in his final year at the Rokhan Medical University in Nangarhar Province. Aqil has nine years of teaching and managerial experience, and currently serves at ACE as the Eastern Zone Regional Coordinator.
Ahmad Zia Andalib received his bachelor’s degree from Herat University. Ahmad has accrued over 10 years of professional experience in the fields of business advisory, marketing, management, communications, and skills training.
Ahmad Kabir Amirzay earned his Bachelor of Economics degree from Balkh University. Ahmad has four years of professional experience in teaching, marketing, training and capacity development, management, and project coordination.
Wase Seddiqi holds a master’s degree in business administration, serving as Chancellor for Mirwais Neeka University in Kandahar prior to joining ACE. Wase has over seven years of professional experience in management, project coordination, and training.
Najma Qurbani completed her undergraduate education at the Asian University for Women in Chittagong, Bangladesh, and received her MBA from the American University of Afghanistan in Kabul. In her professional career she has gained experience at prominent public, private, and development sector institutions.
Akbar Danesh earned his MBA from the Swiss UMEF University in Kabul. He has over 10 years of professional experience in both the public and private sector, specializing in project management, policy formulation, business development, capacity development and gender issues.
Massoud Wardak received his master’s degree in economics from the University of Allahabad, India. He has several years of experience with national and international organizations in the fields of management, planning and policy, and capacity development.
Zubair Ahmadi graduated from the American University of Afghanistan with a BA in Business Administration. Since graduation, Zubair has gained experience working in both the public and private sectors, specializing in finance, procurement, auditing, and skill development.
